Physiotherapy

We provide a stress-free environment where you can choose to make better decisions about drug-free, non-surgical ways to improve your vitality and heal more efficiently.

Physiotherapy (or physical therapy) is a direct access health care service which means that you do not need a doctor’s referral to be assessed and treated. Physiotherapists are specialists in human movement and function. Physiotherapy aims to promote, maintain or improve mobility, function, health and well being.

In a physical therapy assessment, we will speak about your goals for physiotherapy which may range from recovering from an injury, addressing ongoing pain or dysfunction, improving or maintenance of mobility, function or strength. We will address the areas of concern by looking at functional movements, range of motion, strength, joint mobility and muscle imbalances. With this information, your physical therapist will develop a clinical impression and prognosis, and work with you to establish goals and a specialized treatment plan. A treatment plan may consist of manual therapy techniques that address soft tissues and joints, exercises prescription which may include stretching, mobility, strengthening, dry needling and education about how to best manage your condition.
